REGISTRATION FEE
* $35.00 non-refundable yearly registration fee per family due at registration.
SEPTEMBER - JUNE TUITION FOR A 1-HOUR CLASS:
* $49.00 per month
SEPTEMBER - JUNE TUITION FOR A 45-MINUTE CLASS:
* $47.00 per month
SEPTEMBER - JUNE TUITION FOR A 30-MINUTE CLASS:
* $32.00 per month
Absolutely no tuition refunds. $10.00 late fee will be charged after the 10th of the payment month. $25.00 fee will be charged for returned checks. Special discounts on three or more classes per week in one family.
DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES OFFERED
CLASSICAL BALLET: Classical Ballet is a precise discipline where dancers learn technique for posture, body alignment and grace.
LYRICAL BALLET: Lyrical Ballet is a fusion of classical ballet, modern ballet and jazz.
POINTE: Pointe is offered to more advanced classical ballet dancers who are encouraged to pursue their ballet training on pointe shoes.
TAP: Tap is a fast-paced, fun subject where dancers learn to "strike their foot on the floor" and to move their feet rhythmically to upbeat music tempos.
JAZZ / HIP HOP: Jazz programs are specifically designed according to each class level, using ballet barre work, center floor work, turns, leaps, and jumps. Jazz encompasses many sharp and controlled movements, from funk video-style to Broadway-style dance. Hip Hop encompasses the latest video-style hip hop moves performed to today's upbeat music.
PLACES PLEASE!,,,MUSICAL THEATRE: Places Please! is our musical theatre program where students dance, act and sing to popular Broadway musicals.
TINY TOTS "ADVENTURES IN DANCE" (ages 2 1/2 - 3 1/2): Adventures in Dance is a creative movement class, which uses a variety of dance and tumbling techniques to enable the young dancer to develop motor skills, listening skills, strength, agility, timing, and coordination using props. Using different musical themes encourages creative expression.
BABY & COMPANY (ages 18 months - 2 1/2 years with a parent or care-giver): Baby & Company is an introduction to dance movements using a variety of musical themes and props for dancing fun! An obstacle course is added for agility and coordination.
ADULT EXERCISE / DANCE FUSION: Adult Exercise / Dance Fusion incorporates exercise to low impact aerobics with basic dance moves.
ADULT HIP HOP: Adult Hip Hop encompasses the latest video-style hip hop moves to today's upbeat music with moves specifically designed for adults with little or no dance experience.
ADULT BALLET / TAP: Adult Ballet incorporates barre stretches and Ballet technique for posture, body alignment and grace. Adult Tap is a fun, fast-paced subject for rhythm and timing. Adults with little or no dance experience welcome.

Our Faculty
All of our faculty members are certified dance educators with numerous years of teaching and national tour experience. Faculty members continually study by attending conventions and workshops so they may bring the latest trends in dance to our students. Several are members of the award-winning Nancy Carole Dance Company. We are always looking for experienced dance instructors.
Welcome New Faculty
¨ Brady Hohn: Miss Brady holds a BFA in dance from Montclair State University and has studied at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and the Pineapple Studios in London. She performed professionally for the Wagon Wheel Theatre Company, Six Flags Theme Parks, King Productions’ Vegas Superstars, and Delaware Ice Theater. Dance magazine recognizes Miss Brady’s expertise, as she has published articles on teaching techniques and audition and convention class etiquette and is featured in Dance Magazine’s College Guide 07-08 and 08-09. She is looking forward to teaching at our studio.
¨ Katie Barry: Miss Katie is very excited to be returning to teach at NCSD. Katie was a dancer for 15 years and a teacher for 5 years at our studio. She was also a part of the award winning N.C. Senior Dance Company for 5 years. This summer Miss Katie traveled with Miss Kellie to the Dance Teacher Conference in Las Vegas. She graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Communication with concentrations in public relations, political science and marketing. She also currently works for a pharmaceutical ad agency. As dance and teaching have always been her passion, she is thrilled to be returning to her roots, and her home, here at the studio.
¨ Tracey Viera: Miss Tracey was a “Nancy Carole Dancer” for 13 years, and an original member of the award winning N.C. Dance Company. As part of the N.C. Company she got to perform in Disney World, Six Flags Great Adventure each year, numerous local performances. In competition, she danced in many “gold medal” performances alongside other company members. But her favorite part of the “dance experience” was always in the classroom, both as a student and as a teacher. After eight years, Miss Tracey is so excited to be rejoining the faculty at Nancy Carole School of Dance! Miss Tracey graduated with honors from the Jesuit University of Scranton where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Theology and Philosophy. She also studied at the prestigious Oxford University in England for a year. She also is currently the Associate Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark.
¨ Crystal Mann: Crystal Mann is one of the returning members of our teaching staff. She hails from Maryland and is a professional dancer. She has appeared in many tv commercials. She is sought after for her unique choreography, Hip Hop is one of her specialties. She has been a Washington Wizard Dancer and was selected to be part of the first ever NBA All-Star dance team in Laz Vegas for 2007.
Performances
Students are given an opportunity, through an audition process, to be a part of our holiday shows in December. All of our students reach a goal by performing in our annual dance recitals. Not only is it exciting and rewarding, but it also increases their technical knowledge and appreciation of the performing arts.
The Nancy Carole Dance Company
The members of the award-winning N.C. Dance Company are dedicated and talented dancers who perform in local showcases throughout the year. The dancers have performed at Six Flags Great Adventure and Walt Disney World. Advancing students who would like the opportunity for more performance and competition experience are welcome to audition.

Special Programs
Throughout the dance season, we offer a variety of specialty courses, including Adult Dance Classes, Tiny Tot Adventures In Dance (taught to pre-schoolers), Low-Impact Aerobics, Theatre Dance and Tumbling Classes. New courses are always forming. Call the studio to learn more.
