* Placement for classes is at the teacher’s discretion and not necessarily based on age or years of experience.
* Please do not arrive too early for class since our faculty and staff is busy preparing for the day.
* Pick up your children promptly after class.
* Please be on time for class. Never interrupt a class while in session.
* Any class under 6 students is subject to cancellation, increased tuition, or rescheduling.
* Please notify the studio of any change in phone number, home address or e-mail address.
* Costume payments and tuition payments must be paid in full.

* If you are smoking outside of the building, please dispose of your cigarette butts into the proper trash containers.
* Absolutely No cell phones allowed in class. Out of courtesy to our teachers, faculty and dancers please use your cell phones in the back hallway so as not to disturb anyone.
* As a private institution we reserve the right to dismiss any family as we see fit.
* Schedule and teachers are subject to change, we will notify students accordingly.
*Students who withdraw from a class must notify the studio.
ENTERING AND EXITING THE STUDIO:
* Please use the back door located on Swayne Avenue to enter and exit studio.
* For safety reasons, use only the walkway when entering and exiting the back of the building. Do not use the driveway as a walkway. It's an active driveway with cars and trucks coming and going all of the time.
* Do not block/park the driveways or the garage doors with your cars on Swayne Avenue. The dance studio teachers, the day care teachers and Cirillo Electric are constantly moving their cars in and out of the driveways.
* The vacant lot behind the studio does NOT belong to the studio or the landlord and is therefore not our responsibility to plow or maintain. If you choose to park there you do so at your own risk and cost.
WAITING AREA:
* Please remain quiet in waiting area and keep siblings from any disruptive behavior as this is distracting to students and teachers in class.
* Do not leave your children unattended in the studio waiting area. We are NOT responsible for students in waiting room. Also, please do not leave siblings unattended in waiting area. The studio waiting area is not a playground. For safety reasons, no running or ball playing is allowed in the waiting area.
* There have been times where there has been too much congestion at the viewing windows not allowing entrance to the restrooms and not allowing the students and teachers to move in and out of the dance rooms. The viewing windows are designed especially for the beginning of the dance season for those children who need to see their parents outside in order to feel safe. Also, the congestion in the hallways is a fire hazard! Therefore, the viewing windows will be open only at the teacher's discretion. Parents and friends may observe classes during our class demonstration in December. Dates to be announced.
* No smoking allowed in the studio.
* No baby carriages or strollers allowed in studio.
* Students should bring pocketbooks and all valuables into the dance room. We are NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles.
TUITION:
* Our tuition is based on an average of 4 lessons per month, with some months having 3 lessons and other months having 5, therefore tuition is evenly distributed over the 10-month season.
*Tuition is due on the 1st of the month, unless the 1st falls on a Sunday, it would then therefore be due on the 2nd. We offer a 10 day grace period, however there will be no extensions offered after the grace period.
* A non-refundable $35.00 registration fee. One month's tuition in advance, which is put towards June tuition which must be paid at time of registration.
*Tuition statements will be sent monthly.
*If you pay the year in full before September 30, 2010 you will receive a 5% discount.
* ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS.
* We accept cash, checks, money orders, Visa and MasterCard.
* A $5.00 late fee will be charged if tuition payment is not received by the 10th of the month. An additional $5.00 late fee will be charged for each month that a balance is carried over.
*Any balance over $500.00 is subject to further increased late fees.
*Students will not be permitted to take class if any payment is more than 3 months behind.
* If a check is returned to us, there will be a $25.00 returned check fee charged, and the studio will no longer accept your checks. Payments will have to be made with cash, money orders, Visa or MasterCard.
* Special discounts are given to families taking 3 or more classes per week.
* Tuition MUST be paid in full before student performs in the recital.
*There is no deduction in tuition for missed classes. Missed classes may be made up in another class comparable to the same level. Tuition is forfeited for classes that are not made up.
* Remember to place tuition and all other payments in the tuition payment slot located at the front desk.
DRESS CODE:
* All dance classes have their own color code which enables the teacher to see proper placement and body alignment. All dancewear must be purchased at the studio for uniformity. No student will be able to participate in class without proper dance attire.
* Students must wear dance tights. No stockings with lines at the top are to be worn in dance class. It breaks the dancer's line. Only white socks with white dance shoes for younger students. Only pink or black dance sweater for the cold weather.
* Name tag shoes and bags in case of loss.
* Long hair must be tied back and bangs pulled away from forehead. No headbands are to be worn in class.
* No jewelry is to be worn during class.
* Children's ballet skirts are not to be worn over leotards during class.
ATTENDANCE / STUDIO CLOSINGS:
* Regular attendance is important to ensure individual and group progress.
* Please notify the studio if a student is being treated medically or is taking medication.
* Tuition must be paid even if student is absent. Make-up lessons are available.
* Only four (4) make-up lessons are allowed in one season. Schedule of make-up lessons will be posted in the studio waiting area.
* A doctor's note is required if a student is resuming dance lessons after a prolonged illness or injury.
* Christmas, Easter and Memorial Day closing dates to be announced. We do not cancel classes for one-day holidays such as Columbus Day or Veterans Day.
* On inclement weather days or if you are not certain if the studio is open, please phone the studio or check our website to see if classes are canceled. We are not able to contact each student individually.
